Update, update! UFO completed!

WOW!  It's been a long time since posting and A LOT had been going on.  in Sept 2013 I moved into a house with my mother in town... we both have our own sewing room but we share our stash of fabrics...

I've been doing a lot of quilts and have gotten more into patchwork quilting then I ever thought I would!

I shall endeavour to post pics of some of these quilts along the way, but my most recent completed UFO is my sewing machine cover and instead of the planned over the arm pockets I made a pad with pockets for in front of the sewing machine to keep things within reach.

Here is a pic of them both:

  5. Gorgeous! Love the way you did the 'sewing machine' on the cover, with all the little notions and floral embellishments.

  6. Lorri, it's great to see the blocks we work on made into something wonderfully useful. I remember this was the block that started the huge interest in my 3D Butterfly. You have made a great job transforming it into a fabulous looking sewing companion. Great to see you blogging again too.
